FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS

From financial pressure and family conflict to physical and emotional unease, the Four Noble Truths guide us first to recognise suffering, then examine its cause, understand its cessation and practise the path that leads beyond it.
See ageing, illness, death, loss and unease as they are, and recognise suffering as the starting point for transformation.
Ask where suffering comes from: ignorance, craving and clinging cause affliction to arise again and again.
When craving and attachment cease, suffering can also cease, and the mind gradually moves towards freedom.
Cultivate Right View, Right Mindfulness and wholesome conduct through the Noble Eightfold Path, bringing understanding into daily life.
The association places importance on observing body and mind through the principle of cause and effect: distinguish right from wrong, abandon harm, cultivate good and apply what is learned in every choice.
